This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of data when you use our Hennessy Discord Bot ("Bot").

1. Information We Collect

To function correctly, the Bot collects and temporarily stores specific data. This data is limited to what is essential for operation:

• Server Information: Server IDs and channel IDs are stored to manage settings and execute commands in the correct context.
• User Information: User IDs are used to identify who is using a command and for permission-based systems.
• Command Usage: We may temporarily log command usage data (without user-identifiable message content) for the purpose of analytics and identifying bugs.

We explicitly do not store message content, user passwords, email addresses, or any other personally identifiable information not provided by the Discord API that is non-essential to the Bot's function.

2. How We Use Information

The data collected is used solely for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of the Bot. For example, server IDs are used for server-specific settings and prefixes. This data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Security and Storage

We take reasonable measures to protect the information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. Data is stored on secure servers, and access is restricted to authorized personnel only.

4. Data Retention

We retain data only for as long as it is necessary for the Bot to function. Server-specific settings are retained as long as the bot is in the server. Temporary logs and caches are cleared on a regular basis.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to have your server's data removed from our systems. To do this, simply kick the Bot from your server, which will trigger an automatic deletion of associated settings.
